Are issued by the Ministry of communication, take between 2-3 weeks to process and cost about USD 200.00. Passports, media coverage request on a company letterhead and programme synopsis is required for the application.

INTERNATIONAL PRESS ACCREDITATION
All international film crews wishing to film on location in Algeria require press accreditation which is issued by the Ministry of Communication at a cost of $200. For this application a passport together with the reason for travel is required.
VISA APPLICATION – MEDIA VISA IS REQUIRED
The Algerian visa processing time depends on the type of visa you’re applying for, the county you are applying from, and the specific embassy or consular office. It usually takes about 10-20 working days to process an Algerian visa. However, to make sure, inquire with the embassy or consulate in which you are applying. This enables crew members to remain in the country for 90 days. The cost is about $160. A list of documentation is required please ensure that you fill in the visa application form and supply all the necessary documents requested. Payment must be made with an USPS money order.
